RGE 10K passing acid and electronic tester

So I have an Opal Amethyst pendant from Thailand clearly marked RGE 10K. However, it has passed the direct acid test using 14K test acid which is relatively new and quality checked on another item. It has passed the file down direct acid test. Lastly, it has registered as 10K on my Kee Gold Tester (calibrated).

Comments and/or suggestions.

RGE may be the initials or company logo. For example my class ring has LJC 18k inside of it. The initials are close enough to appear to be part of the gold stamp.
