Welcome to us.
Pleas write your text in proper English, we have members that rely on translators and slang and lingo do not translate well.

Inquarting is to bring the karat of the Gold to 6 (25%) so it is very much about the karat, yes.

Here is for your studies:

We ask our new members to do 3 things.
1. Read C.M. Hokes book on refining jewelers scrap, it gives an easy introduction to the most important chemistry regarding refining.
It is free here on the forum: https://goldrefiningforum.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=54&t=19798
2. Then read the safety section of the forum: https://goldrefiningforum.com/forums/safety.47/
3. And then read about "Dealing with waste" in the forum: https://goldrefiningforum.com/threads/dealing-with-waste.10539/

You need to know how much pure gold you have in the karat gold. Then add enough to the weight of the karat jewelry so the pure gold will be 25% of the alloy you will make.
You will have to stirr or swirl the molten metal to ensure a homogeneous alloy.

So much for theory and calculating.

Start your studies as said and present your plan for us to review when you think you have it figured out.
Ask if you get lost. And don't do anything exept very small test tube reactions and after you have studied safety and how to deal with waste.
