Equipment upgrade

I've just completed an upgrade the secondary WEEE shredder from 19mm blades to 28mm blades to handle the larger volumes of gear going through the plant. This machine "sizes" the pre shred so that full material separation can take place. The main shredder gets a similar upgrade from 28mm to 39mm blades in a couple of weeks so we can run much heavier gear like washing machines, ovens and tumble dryers and heavier electrical control panels in addition to the lighter WEEE.

I like these vids - the blades can be somewhat therapeutic to watch.
