I have a question I cemented some Nitric solution with copper thinking I was heavy on Silver to put the copper in immediately got a white residue on the copper I left it came back the next day and I had a mess it had boiled over not on heat and I had a bunch of sediment that was orangish red in color similar to a rusty kind of color little bit more Orange you might say my question is what is this sediment and how do I proceed in testing it or refining

Welcome.
Many metals dissolve in Nitric.
Can you describe the material you dissolved?
And how you set it up during the cementing?

Here is for your studies::
