However, if I don’t have the equipment too to the assay, then I am reticent to spend $$$ on the hope my ore has anything in it.

Well, then you have rocks or dirt, not ore.
It do not cost very much for a fire assay.

Sir, I am too busy to take in outside work. An Education, cost time & money there is no way around it, unless you submit a photo of the ore, then maybe someone might give you a psychic assay. Most aqua regia digest, then hydrofluoric acid follow-up for an ICP of the elements will be around $200 and that is cheap because I used to charge 2.5X that price. Good luck Windnsails.
