hey steve i didnt let it sit over night after i diluted i filterd it with a vacume filter, look how the sulfuric comes out clean and ready to use agian,while all the gold stays in the filter.

The clean acid means no base metals are in it. How much scrap did you run thru the cell before filtering? The more scrap you process the more blue-green the acid becomes due to dissolved base metals.

I've got a vaccuum setup but don't use it much. I may break it out and save some time on my next batch.

those pins took time so i got about 3 pounds changed filters abot 2 times got a big chuck of mud ,i will run the mud thru hot water one or twice
did it all in one day ,will try to melt tommorro
